Deputy O’Sullivan urges businesses to avail of 30 percent top up to Restart Plus Grant

The government on Tuesday announced a package of measures to support businesses affected by level 3 restrictions over the next three weeks, including a 30 percent top up of the Restart Plus Grant.

“I urge businesses affected by the restrictions to apply for this,” Cork South West Deputy Christopher O’Sullivan said. “It will be made available immediately through the normal application process.

“We know level 3 will have a significant impact on businesses and employment across the country.”

As part of its measures to mitigate the effects of restrictions, the government has previously announced the Restart Grant and Restart Grant Plus, which can be used to defray ongoing fixed costs during closure, including for utilities, insurance, refurbishment or for measures to ensure employee and customer safety.
