University College Cork (UCC) is offering free courses so that workplaces across all sectors of Ireland’s economy are ready to resume operations under the Government’s phased roadmap.

The COVID 19 Return to Work courses are sector specific so that businesses know what is required to ensure their workplace meet the national health guidelines.

The courses are being offered by Adult Continuing Education (ACE) within UCC and attendees on the two hour online courses will be taught: How the workplace has changed; Social Distancing Procedures; Hygiene protocols and PPE; New work layouts and procedures; Compliance Officer Role.

“We want to help Ireland get back to work. If you run a small business or a multinational, are a teacher or run a guest house, these courses are designed to help sectors across Ireland’s economy know what is required of them, and to help and suppport them get ready for when they can return to work,” stated Belinda Gascoigne, Senior Programme Co-ordinator, ACE UCC.

The courses will take place over a number of dates in line with the Government’s Phased Roadmap for reopening society and business.
