KUDOS – ‘Until We Meet Again’

Well known Cork-based pop duo KUDOS have released an online track, entitled ‘Until We Meet Again’. The song was released on their social media channels, Sunday night and the response to the upbeat catchy song has been amazing.

The girls, like the rest of us, have been adhering to current Covid-19 government guidelines, the inspiration for the song came when they were talking to family and friends and planning for the future, when we will all meet again. 

In the song, KUDOS sing about looking forward to meeting family again without Zoom, meeting outside the 2km when the current government restrictions are lifted and dreaming of getting their nails, lashes and tan done, returning to their hobbies and interest in sports and outdoor persuits.

“People have been really enjoying this track and have been telling us what they are looking forward to, when this is over said sisters Sophie & Laura of KUDOS. ‘Almost everyone can relate to the sentiment and references in the song.  As music lovers and performers, we long to attend gigs with our friends and start performing again ourselves’

The video, comprising of videos showing some of their happiest memoreies along with calls to friends and family they have been unable to meet in person due to the current travel restrictions. The video also features KUDOS enjoying celebrations with their local Russell Rovers GAA team following recent success.

The Girls hope their song reminds people that we have brighter days to look forward to, when we will we are reunited with family, friends and everything we enjoy in life.
