De Barra’s Spoken Word in May

by Nick Smith

Raconteur Maria Gillen.

Maria Gillen of Cork Yarn Spinners, well known raconteur and winner of the Sean McCarthy 25th Anniversary Story Telling Competition in Finuge, will host a storytelling session for adults tomorrow, Wednesday, May 6, at 4PM.

This will take place on Zoom. This makes it possible for people to interact, albeit from a distance, and we are pleased as Punch (and Judy) to say that there will be an open mic at the end with MC Moze Jacobs.

You can sign up for the open mic in advance by email, through Facebook or via the chat option at the start of the session. If you wish to join Maria’s workshop, send your email address to debarrasspokenword@gmail.com and the Zoom link will be emailed to you. The meeting can be accessed from a computer or mobile phone.
We look forward to virtually meeting you. Any queries, email debarrasspokenword@gmail.com
