Access West Cork Music’s archive to experience performances from years past

In view of the high level of uncertainty about the Coronavirus pandemic, West Cork Music is suspending on-line bookings for the West Cork Chamber Music Festival and the West Cork Literary Festival workshops. The West Cork Music office is now closed and the Festival teams are all working from home.

At this stage, the team don’t know if the Festivals will be able to go ahead as planned. Should it be necessary to cancel or postpone any of the Festivals customers will be fully refunded or offered a credit note if preferred. Festival artists, Friends and Donors will all be contacted individually.

In the meantime you might be interested in accessing the West Cork Music Audio Archive – a comprehensive, searchable and free online resource providing past details of the West Cork Chamber Music Festival.

Here you will find wealth of information – from performance dates, artists, venues, and programme notes to audio and video. The aim of the archive is to present the festival’s entire 17-year collection of festival recordings in this online platform and to make the festival accessible to a wider audience than is possible in small venues or even through a radio audience. It also provides a wonderful opportunity for those who have visited Bantry to experience these performances a second time around.
Concerts from the 2019 West Cork Chamber Music Festival will be uploaded later in the week.
